The Roosevelt Hotel is Hollywood's only historic hotel still in operation today - having just celebrated its 75th anniversary with a $15 million renovation. The home of the very first Academy Awards (1929) was built as a glamorous gathering place and hotel for the screen colony, with investors including Douglas Fairbanks and Mary Pickford. Through the years, throngs of celebrities and people hoping to sight them have visited and resided at the hotel.

From: Los Angeles International Airport Take Century Blvd East to the 405 Freeway (San Diego Freeway) North. Take the 10 Freeway (Santa Monica Freeway) East. Take the La Brea Boulevard offramp North. Travel on La Brea northbound to Hollywood Boulevard. Make a right. Travel to Orange St. Make a righthand turn. Valet parking entrance will be on the right hand side.
